We ordered Shanghai noodles, drunken chicken, and sheng jian bao. The Shanghai noodles and drunken chicken were both really salty, almost inedible. The sheng jian bao tasted okay, but it wasn't crispy enough, and the bun felt really doughy. I think the best item we ordered was the ice water.

Very rude service. I asked for the table to be cleaned, and I had to ask three times! The waiter just said later. I had to ask three times before he eventually came slowly and unwillingly to clean the table. It's just a simple request, something that will take so little effort on his part, yet he cannot do it! Or rather, it's just that he doesn't want to. And it's not like the food here is good either. Don't come here! Not worth your time and money.

I thought I'd give this another try after my bad experience at the Thomson branch a few years back. However, sadly, the food is still lacklustre. There's definitely better food around for cheaper. The taste profile tends to be sweet. Scallion Oil Noodles were not fragrant and unpleasantly oily. Signature Sheng Jian Bao were decent, but lacked the fragrance and aroma of pan-frying. They are also really stingy with the vinegar (which also tends to be sweet and watered down). Not a good sign for such places. I don't recommend if you're looking for authentic Sheng Jian Bao, XLB, or Scallion Oil Noodles.

Super, super, super slow service. Prepare to wait for half an hour for your food, even though we only ordered two items. Lousy food and rude staff. Eat at your own risk. Many tables who came after us had their food served, but we were the only ones not served. They kept saying it was "still preparing"?
