What a disappointment. Comparing this Poulet to the one at Jewel would be like comparing hell and heaven. So many things were horrible. 1. Service Since we ordered three mains, we asked to be moved to a bigger table, as the restaurant was not crowded at the time. The staff were extremely unfriendly and acted as if we had demanded the most difficult thing in the world. Their horrible attitude ruined the dining atmosphere. 2. Food First, let's talk about the famous mushroom risotto, which is highly praised at this place. The taste was, at best, 'meh,' completely relying on truffle oil for its flavor. Even worse, the rice was cooked unevenly. If you thought that was bad, let's talk about the signature roasted chicken that Poulet boasts. The one served at Jewel was extremely tender, fresh, and juicier. The one served at Bugis, however, tasted like it was a day old. The meat was not tender, and the signature mushroom cream sauce was not as flavorful, making the stale chicken smell very prominent. Overall, the Poulet at Bugis was a complete letdown. I strongly recommend choosing another restaurant from the many others beside it.
