I wish I had seen the Google reviews of this place before going. I randomly chanced upon the nail salon and went in because there weren't many people. This was a mistake, as the whole experience was very unpleasant.
Firstly, I asked the staff to recommend a red nail color tone that is suitable for my skin. One person said rudely, "Only you will know which color will suit you," indicating there was no need for them to recommend because I should be the one who knows. I'm not the professional here? Shouldn't you, who do this for a living, know which color would suit your customer better?
Secondly, the staff that attended to me was wiping off excess nail polish with her nails, and it was VERY painful. It felt like a knife slicing through my skin. And I had to endure it ten times for ten of my nails.
Thirdly, they provided me a basket of nail colors, and I picked out one that looked nice. Then, they told me that the nail color I picked had a $10 surcharge because it's a "special color." Why didn't they just tell me in the first place that certain colors were chargeable? It's so stupid.
What poor customer service. The reviews are real. Please DO NOT come here.
Go to another freaking salon because the customer service is probably better.

Look, the manicures are great, cheap, and pretty quick. But when you have two stores within blocks of each other with the same name and branding, you cannot turn around and say they are different businesses, and that a package purchased in one cannot be used in the other! Then they tell me they have no time to see me and push me off to the other shop to pay full price plus a fee to remove polish done at the other branch. I feel scammed and cheated!

"Not a comfortable place for nail services. Staff are eager to upsell, regardless of package or à la carte services. They can remember how much to charge you, but they cannot remember basic customer care. I saw a customer fall and trip when she came down from the platform. The staff was so eager to go to the cashier to key in the amount, and the rest of the staff who had served that customer just shouted out how much to key in. It was a disgrace. They had totally forgotten to help that customer down. I saw staff washing a cucumber and an oily food container at the tap. It was really dirty. What if the next customer put their feet on the oily sink? I won't go there anymore."

I still had a $98 credit balance, down from over $100 previously. However, they tried to hard-sell me a new package even though I still had credit remaining. The ladies were very persistent in hard-selling packages, especially after they had previously damaged my nails by buffing them down to a thin layer. I am not going to sign up with them again. Now I'm just waiting to use up my remaining balance.
